Greenfield is a residential neighbourhood located in southwest Edmonton. The neighbourhood was named after Herbert Greenfield, the Premier of Alberta from 1921 to 1925. While the official name is Greenfield, residents like to call it Petrolia. There are several schools and recreational sites in Greenfield that are centrally located. In addition, there is also a shopping plaza in the neighbourhood. There are retail outlets and service businesses at the nearby Southgate shopping centre. Greenfield is also within a close distance to many amenities. It has great green spaces within the neighbourhood as well as surrounding the areas.

The Greenfield neighbourhood is bounded by major arterial roads, 111 Street on the east, 119 Street on the west, 40 Avenue on the north and the south by 34 Avenue.
