The neighborhood has two schools, namely Baturyn Elementary School and St. Charles Catholic Elementary School, for kids residing here. The elementary schools are contained within a large park area in the center of the neighborhood. The eastern and western edges also have two smaller parks, which cater to people’s need for open spaces close to their homes. Whether it’s your routine morning jog or evening leisure stroll, these parks provide a relaxing setting for the residents of Baturyn.
Walk half a block north of 173A Avenue, and you will reach the northern fringes of the neighborhood. 112 Street and Castle Downs Road form the western and southern boundaries of the neighborhood respectively. These two roads give a big boost to the accessibility of the neighborhood from other parts of Edmonton.
